If taking candy from a baby is the easiest thing in the world…pff… hijacking a kid’s scooter is just a Tuesday for Magpie. Magpie conquers all odds, obstacles, and laws to fight for what she wants most in the world: a best friend.

Kijo Gatama is an actor, dancer, playwright, baby clown, creator in Edmonton, Alberta. She is currently in her fourth year of the BFA in Acting program at the University of Alberta. Gatama strives to create theatre that explores more of Queer Afro-Canadian experiences and story-telling. Kijo Gatama is also known as one of the creators & founders of Shakespeare’s Hunnies, a blog focused on sharing emerging artist’s stories/work. As well as curator of Fear the Festival, an IBPOC horror film collective.
